Those of you who read Granny's letters to the editors, you know that politics are her bread-and-butter topic. She is an ardent follower of politics, local and national. While she may struggle with some of the names (a noticeable mixup when she referred to Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, Maury Povich) she knows her current events.
In a conversation this week, she explained that she didn't like John McCain's new ads for that matter, with "those blond girls who are always in the news...". She explained that the position of President doesn't get the respect it deserves, even from the candidates vying to occupy it. Expect a link to her letter soon.
